Host your next meeting, event or wedding at the Old Alcohol Plant. Located near the water’s edge of the South side of Townsend Bay in Port Hadlock, Washington, the remodeled 1911 Classen Chemical Company’s Alcohol Plan reopened in 2016 as a hotel, nonprofit housing establishment, restaurant, art gallery and event center. Revitalized after decades of transitional history, the Old Alcohol Plant features a historic setting with modern amenities. We have 25 available rooms for you, your family, and friends. We have multiple banquet rooms available for bridal showers, bachelor dinners, rehearsal dinners and gift opening brunches. The elegant hotel rooms boast jetted tubs and fireplaces, the restaurant menu items satisfy a multitude of diners with seasonal, locally sourced items and greens fresh from our garden. The art exhibits change throughout the year.

The hotel offers several meetings and event spaces. The 1,488-square-foot Sky View Ballroom accommodates 216 guests for cocktails or 95 for banquet seating. The Sky View Ballroom also has a projector screen and an integrated sound system. The Bay View Room, with its 1,200 square feet, holds 174 without seats and 76 for dining. Additional seating space for 40 is available on the adjoining patio. Sweeping views of the Puget Sound grace the dining room and patio where visitors can enjoy meals. 

The 1,386-square-foot Lobby Lounge highlights rotating works of art boasts movable furniture to accommodate 202 guests for a cocktail party or 88 for a banquet. The Gallery @ OAP has 777-square-feet. With exhibits that change throughout the year makes for a nice backdrop to start off your party with some cocktails or champagne. The venue has ample guest parking, on-site catering, free Wi-Fi, and audio-visual equipment available for rent.

The patio bordering the restaurant provides spectacular views of the Port Hadlock Marina, and the adjacent lawn is perfect for picnics, weddings and rehearsals. Guests staying on a Friday or Saturday night can enjoy local live music. Just 40 minutes from the Kingston Ferry Terminal, the Old Alcohol Plant has everything you need to make your special event perfect!
